Care
Wash separately in a washing machine with a capacity of 9+ kg at 30°C, using the delicate cycle (up to 30 minutes).
Use a mild detergent free from bleaching agents and fabric softeners. Washing with detergents containing olive extract and/or Castile (green) soap is not recommended.
Do not leave the rug in the washing machine drum after the cycle finishes, as the colors may bleed and stain other parts of the rug.
It can be tumble-dried on the lowest heat setting. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Dry cleaning is not recommended.
It is normal for the rug to shed lint due to its handmade construction and residual fibers left over from the cotton cutting process. To minimize shedding, regular vacuuming with a low-power setting is recommended. Avoid using vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes or beater bars, as well as robot vacuums, to prevent damage to the rug's pile.
During the first few days, it is advisable to brush the rug with a stiff-bristled brush in the direction of the pile to gradually remove any loose fibers. Afterwards, vacuum regularly.
If you notice long or loose threads, carefully trim them with scissors. Never pull the threads.
Keep the rug away from fire and heat sources.
