Care

Wash separately in a washing machine with a capacity of 12+ kg at 30°C, using the delicate cycle (up to 30 minutes).

Use a mild detergent free from bleaching agents and fabric softeners. Do not use detergents containing olive extract or Castile (green) soap.

Do not leave the rug in the washing machine drum after the wash cycle ends, as the colors may bleed and stain other parts of the rug.

It can be tumble-dried on the lowest temperature setting.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Dry cleaning is not recommended.

It is normal for the rug to shed lint due to its handmade construction and residual fibers resulting from the cotton-cutting process. To minimize shedding, regular vacuuming with a low-power setting is recommended. Avoid using vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes or beater bars, as well as robot vacuums, to prevent damage to the rug's pile.

During the first few days, it is recommended to brush the rug with a stiff brush in the direction of the pile to gradually remove any loose fibers. Afterward, use a vacuum cleaner regularly.

If you notice any long or loose threads, carefully trim them with scissors. Never pull on the threads.

Keep the rug away from fire and heat sources.
